Along with our big news on Wednesday, announcing that LessonPathways.com will now be free for everyone, we also released a new feature for our users. You can now log into LessonPathways.com with your Facebook account.
Here’s how it works:
First, be sure you are already logged into Facebook, then navigate your browser to LessonPathways.com. From there, it is as easy as clicking the “connect with Facebook” button (you’ll find this on the right side of the homepage).
Clicking the button will generate a pop-up, confirming the connection.
After connecting, you won’t notice any interference from Facebook connect while you are browsing and using the Pathways, but you will notice your Facebook profile picture is automatically displayed next to your account.
As you add Pathways and Guided Journeys to your Planner, Facebook Connect will give you the option of publishing your action to your Facebook page.
If you do not want to share this with your friends, click the “skip” button. Otherwise, click the “Publish” button in the pop-up window and through the magic of Facebook Connect, your activity will be published to your news feed on Facebook, allowing your friends to “like” or comment on your activity.
There are a few more things to know about using Facebook Connect on LessonPathways.com:
1. When you log out of LessonPathways.com, you will automatically log out of Facebook.
2. Facebook Connect DOES NOT work with the user forums. You will still need to log in separately there (for the time being, anyway).
3. You DO NOT need use Facebook Connect or have a Facebook account to use LessonPathways.
