Spring brings some unpredictable weather. What better time to study weather patterns with your children? Explore this science Pathway and enjoy projects such as making lightning, a cloud in a glass and a blue sky!
This unit is meant to introduce children to weather. They will learn about different types of weather, climate, storms, and weather instruments. Some lessons require you to read to them, but there are also videos and hands-on activities. This unit is designed to last about one week, depending on how often you teach science.
This unit, as well as over 900 other Pathways, is free for everyone. Please help keep LessonPathways.com free by supporting our advertisers. We did a unit on weather this week for school… I totally forgot to check LP for ideas! Yikes! I’ll have to remember to do that next week!!
We are going to be doing a live online class called Wild Weather on April 19. This is going to be a great introduction for that class!
Carol – I’m so glad you posted that comment! You reminded me that I wanted to sign my girls up for that class too!
